The Marathon is Sunday. Thanks to you (Dr. Cragg) and Matt (Dr. Davidson) for getting me to the starting line! I feel like a race horse. Now, just so I can get to the finish line before they shoot me! Hopefully I will see you at the EXPO, but just in case I don’t have a chance to see you to thank you personally, I wanted to send this note along! — Gary
My name is Debra Sury. I met Dr. Cragg several years ago when I was training for the Spirit of St. Louis marathon in 2007. I met Dr. Cragg several years ago when I was training for the Spirit of St. Louis marathon in 2007. I was having a few IT problems. I went to see Dr. Cragg and I was thinking to myself I know exactly what he is going to say when he sees me STOP RUNNING! I’ve had several doctors depress me with negativity. Wow! Was I wrong! It was an amazing experience. He worked on me for several weeks and I completed the full marathon in 2007. (more)
It was three weeks before the marathon and my 16, 18 and 21 mile runs felt like someone was hitting the side of my knee with a hammer. Friends of mine suggested I bow out but it seemed like such a waste to sacrifice all my work up to that point. Besides, I was raising money for my church and backing out just wasn’t an option. I have been trying to run a half marathon for 3 years but pain in my SI joint had kept me from reaching that goal. After seeing many different orthopedists and going through 6 months of physical therapy; I was told I needed injections to control my pain. (more)

I met Dr. Cragg at the 2004 St. Louis Marathon Expo. At the time, I was dealing with heavy pain from my IT Band and I was unable to run the race. Dr. Cragg gave a few pointers that I immediately started using and invited me for a free consultation. Shortly after meeting Dr. Cragg, I also met Dr. Owens and Tracy during a Triathlete Injury Prevention Seminar at REI. A couple of weeks after meeting them, I made my first appointment. (more)
My foot began to hurt the week before the Chicago Marathon, in 2002. In the weeks following Chicago, I tried Superfeet™ inserts and arch support wraps. I continued to train and tried to work through my foot problems. The pain in my foot was especially bad during the beginning of my runs, and then again walking after I finished running.(more)
For over 2 years now, I have maintained good back health with regular chiropractic visits. I continue to go to Dr. Cragg’s office for maintenance on my back, and for advice with my training program. Dr. Cragg is a resource for athletic activities in the community; from bike rides, to triathlons, to marathons. He is a competitive athlete himself and seems to treat all of his patients like athletes. (more)
